Common Sense Welfare Reform

New York State loses over $140 MILLION each year because of fraud in the welfare system. While families throughout Central New York are struggling to put food on the table each night for their children, your tax dollars are being spent at liquor stores, strip clubs, off-track betting, and adult entertainment shops by those abusing the public assistance system. It's inexcusable and an injustice to the working-class.

More astonishing is that the State Assembly not only knows about the loopholes allowing NY State issued EBT cards to be used for these illicit purchases, but they actually voted against restricting such use.

As your next Assemblyman, I will work to make sure we help those on public assistance who need a helping hand, but stop EBT card abuse.

Howdy! Quick question that's entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My website looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I'm trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Appreciate it!

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Thank you!
